I got the Wii Fit about a month ago so I can get in some light exercise at home to keep up my strength while I'm undergoing chemotherapy. I've used it about 10 days so far, my best day being a 15 minute long workout.
I'm finally having a day where I'm feeling really good and healthy and I got in two half hour workouts today. I'm using
wiifitroutine.com to generate workouts and I did one easy 30 minute workout this morning and one medium 30 minute workout this evening. Wow am I pumped! I can really feel the endorphins working.
I have chemotherapy again tomorrow but not until the afternoon so I hope to get another half hour workout in in the morning and then I'll probably need to take several days off again or at least only do a few minutes of the lightest yoga.
Once I'm done with chemo (hopefully in May), I'm planning to move to a more intense game like EA Sports Active.
