By now, everyone has heard about Julie's weight loss using the Nintendo Wii Fit, and now Nintendo has come out with the Wii Fit Plus, which offers busy individuals a way to stay active without leaving the house and a way for families to play and have fun together. The game includes all of the activities from the original Wii Fit
software and adds in more than 20 new activities, the ability to customize workouts, multiplayer mode, a calorie counter, and more.
The Wii Fit Plus allows you to customize your workout in two ways – by creating a saved “My Routine” or by inputting the amount of time you would like to spend working out (from five minutes up to an hour) and having the game create a randomized routine to fit that time frame. For example, you can create and save a workout under “My Routines” and track your experience as you do this routine daily. You can also utilize the game to create a quick, randomized workout when you have an extra 10 or 20 minutes that pop up during the day. Experiment with an all Yoga workout, an all Strength Training workout and a combination of both.
The Wii Mommies are looking for individuals who are unfamiliar with the Nintendo Wii and the Wii Fit Plus to participate in our Citizen Journalist Program to analyze specific elements of the Wii Fit Plus and
submit weekly reports on their findings over a period of three weeks.
