The Wii Mommies

I joined Wii Mommies in the very beginning with the first site. I followed all the way to this one but haven't been active until recently...my bad. Now 'm wondering if I'm just too late? I know everyone is busy but it seems like a lot of new wii mommies are looking for training tips and ideas and all the veterans who have actually "made it happen" seem to be gone. I also noticed the "spam" posts that have been around for a while. Just curious if I should bother posting. I'm really pumped to make my fitness goal finally happen after years of procrastination and thought this would be the perfect place for motivation and new ideas.

Yeah, that was a great blog talk show!

Every Friday at 11 a.m. - great way to connect and ask them questions, etc.

They didn't realize the spam posts were there, but they're going to fix them and hopefully we can help by flagging them or emailing them when we see spammy posts.

I listened, they even removed some while on the show I think. Here it's 2pm when it's on which is great, because my 2/3 of my boys are still in school Now it's time to go and get my chicken suit on and bash some moles

We are around - I have been MIA lately with a horrible chest cold - I am back this week and working out. I have one month to really crunch in those workouts to get ready for a black tie event. Keep up the workouts and check in often.

We just switched over to this platform from a forum that got slammed with spam and now we're working on how to make this the best possible platform. There are groups to explore, blog posts to write and read and friends to make. This is a community and we are all here to friend and talk to and support other people.

We're working with the creators of Ning to figure out how to avoid the spam we've seen and are currently approving members as they join in hopes to eliminate it. I personally (Julie) haven't gotten any at all, so it came as a shock to me.

Bear with us as we try to acclimate ourselves to this new society and find ways to help each other. You can see a link within this site to our weekly radio show where we talk to members in the forum and welcome live callers and give what info we can, as well as writing weekly "fitness friday" posts to further encourage weight loss.

So we're here. We're listening and we're doing the best we can as we try to figure out how to get and stay fit as well as help everyone in our community. I also know that flu hit us all and it hit us hard! Ugh!
