The Wii Mommies

Hi.

I'm new here. My name is Claudia, and I love Wii Fit Plus.
Due to feminine problems I had a hysterectomy 2 months ago. And then I got a job full time. I am cleared now to return to exercise, but with my job schedule (full time), etc, I don't seem to have time to do it anymore, Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Seems to be a typical problems for those trying to fit in some workouts...Some people try to get up a bit earlier to fit in a workout. I know with the wii fit you could do some of the free step or free running while watching tv.

I already get up at 5 am to go to work and I work from 7:30 to at least 5:30 if not later. By the time I get home, eat, etc, either the day is over, I'm tired, or both

I'm writing this in the Wii Mommies account but this is Julie, one of the co-founders of the site. I'm just currently too lazy to sign in over there lol.

I had a complete hysterectomy (ovaries and then extra parts totally unrelated to the lady parts) 9 months ago and I am also bipolar, so the switch in hormones literally changed my life. On that note, If you ever need a like-minded person, email Julie@Momspective.com

As far as fitness is concerned, I started with my Nintendo DS and used the Personal Trainer: Walking to get me started. The Wii Mommies had a challenge and that really helped get me going. As I progressed, I found that the Wii Fit Plus was absolutely the best way to go. You can work on stretching and toning with the Yoga and when you're ready for it, the strength training will help you lose the body fat that may have accumulated. I'm down to a size 6 from a 16 and it turns out I need some strength training, according to a doctor who I was lucky enough to test with in Miami during Superbowl week, so I'm believing what she says.

While I love the hula hoop, take it easy since that is the main area you're working. Two months isn't that far into recovery so you have to remember to take it easy, have fun and to not over extend yourself.
