Hello all, im down to that last 10 pounds that always seems the hardest to get rid of. I am doing well on the diet but lately my old habit if eating something crunchy before bed is sneaking in. Does anyone know of something good (or at least less bad) than peanut butter crackers wich seems to be the think that I most crave? Mainly something crunchy.

First of all CONGRATULATIONS on the weight loss!! Awesome!

Secondly, mind over matter - I'm finding that when I'm getting the cravings I literally push myself to drink an entire water bottle (24 oz) full of water. Many times this takes that urge to eat away

If not, then I turn to things like big carrots - not the little baby ones but I get the regular carrots and clean them myself as well as green peppers - it's just enough of that crunch and as long as they are nice and fresh they satisfy my urge to eat too!

Last ditch effort...padlocks!!

You know, if it's the peanut butter, maybe put some on some celery...I'll measure out my 1 T. of organic peanut butter, and grab a bunch of celery sticks and dip away! Also, I will sometimes thin the peanut butter with something like light syrup--It'll make it easier to dip, you can warm it up, and there are fewer calories.

My other suggestion--I like the crunch, too--is popcorn at night. I get the 100 calorie packs and go to it! It's not a hard crunch, but it does the trick.

And then, there's always dry cereal...

I'm down to about 5 pounds to go myself, and it's tough!
